Every Heiner’s Workshop Heavy Bag is individually handmade and built to order. This is not a mass-produced bag pulled from a warehouse—each piece is a true 1-of-1, with the character and subtle variations that come from being made by hand.

American Bison Leather

The exterior is crafted from 4–5 oz shrunken American bison leather, tanned in the USA and finished with a waxy topcoat. A specialized heat-shrinking process tightens the hide’s natural grain, creating a dense, pronounced bubble-grain texture with exceptional depth and rugged character. Bison leather is valued for its durability, low stretch, and distinctive natural grain. No two hides are exactly alike, so variations in texture, veining, markings, and tone make every finished heavy bag genuinely unique.
